Halloween in Santiago, Chile (October, 2015)

Our family was excited for the new Star Wars movie to hit theaters, so excited, in fact, that we decided to dress up as Star Wars characters together for Halloween in Chile. Cody was Jabba the Hut, Eliza was Padme, Sawyer was Princess Leia, Ryder was Darth Vader, Nash was Luke Skywalker, and Zander was Yoda.

We went to a costume event at the kids' school earlier in the day and were definitely the most coordinated and decked out family when it came to costumes. Later that night, we went trick-or-treating with our friends, the Raleighs.

Electric Scooter Tour of Santiago, Chile with new friends (October, 2015)

We took advantage of a Monday off of work (Columbus Day) and organized an electronic scooter tour through Santiago with our new friends and next door neighbors, the Raleighs, and our even newer friends Stan and Lisa Jewells. We had a great time scooting around the city, taking in the sites, and learning a little bit about the history of Santiago.

Rollerblading and Scooters in the Park, Santiago, Chile (October, 2015)

It has finally started warming up here in Santiago, Chile and we have been missing the outdoors. It's been an abnormally rainy year for Chile and the cold has dragged on longer than normal, so we have spent most of our weekends inside. It was great to get out and explore a bit. We went to a park in Vitacura (10 minutes from our house) and took our electronic scooters, push scooters, and rollerblades along with a picnic lunch. The weather was beautiful, as were the sights.

There were some great surfaces for scooters and rollerblades.
