Halloween Party in Morgantown, WV (October, 2004)

Our friends, Emma and Will Hunter, hosted a Halloween party at their home in Morgantown, WV. We decided to do the cross-gender thing. We had a good time. It was Sawyer's first Halloween, and she didn't know what was going on, but she did look cute in her little pumpkin costume.

Frank and Cheryl Vancuren's Baptism (May, 2004)

Frank and Cheryl Vancuren were baptised in Waynesburg, PA in May, 2004. The Vancurens and I have become very close friends since I met Frank while working underground at the Bailey coal mine during the summer of 2001.

Sawyer's Birth (April 24, 2004)

Sawyer was born at St. Clair Hospital on April 24, 2004 (the day before our first wedding anniversary).

Quick Trip to Washington DC (March, 2004)

Eliza was 7 months pregnant, but we decided to take a weekend trip to Washington DC anyway. We went to the Washington D.C. temple together; visited the Lincoln, Jefferson, Roosevelt, Washington, Vietnam War, Korean War, and World War II (under construction) Memorials; and went to 2 Smithsonian Museums (Air and Space Museum and Museum of Natural History). We did a lot of walking and after Eliza tired out I pushed her in a wheelchair the rest of the day.
