Upon entering the Park (Torres del Paine), we headed towards Lago Grey and Glacier Grey. We booked a boat tour to the top of the lake to see the glacier at close range and we weren't disappointed. We had a long walk out to the boat in some pretty fierce wind (it was almost picking Jovi and Zander up off the ground). The views on the lake were stunning and the boat ride was great. It was cool to see the glacier up close (some portions were totally blue instead of white). On the way back, they gave us our beverage of choice (Coke Zero) in glasses with glacier ice (the rest of the boat was having traditional Chilean pisco sours). It was a pretty cool way to see the western portion of the "W" circuit up close in a short period of time without having to walk to far.
